What is a Healing Sound Bath?

A Healing Sound Bath  is a fully immersive experience where you will be bathed in the frequency of sound. Sounds and vibrations have been used for centuries to help bring the body into alignment and heal mental and physical traumas.

Just as you would get a massage to relax tension in your physical body, sound healing is a sonic massage for not only your body but your mind as well. Some potential benefits of a Healing Sound Bath are:

  • Improved clarity and balance
  • Decreased blood pressure
  • Improved relaxation
  • Increased memory and concentration
  • A stronger immune system

What to Expect:

The purpose of this healing sound bath is to help you turn off your brain, relax, and be in the moment.  A stress free and calm state is the optimum environment for healing to occur.
All that is required of you is to show up, relax, and have an open mind and heart to the process. You will be laying down in a comfortable position (feel free to bring blankets, pillows, and anything that will help you relax while laying on the ground) and I will guide you through a sound journey for 45 minutes.

Taught By:

Alison Ausherman from Good Vibrations Holistic Therapies LLC. Alison is a sound healer, yoga instructor, and occupational therapist. She has studied sound healing at the International Sound Healing Academy with a focus on specific sound healing techniques for tuning forks, tibetan singing bowls, and crystal singing bowls.
Alison wholeheartedly believes in the power of using sound to help bring about healing. We are all energetic beings vibrating at our frequency. Sound healing shifts your vibration to allow for your energy to flow where it is most needed.

Best Suited For:

People that are looking to destress, improve their overall wellbeing, and supplement their healing journey.

When & Where:

This will be offered the 1st Sunday of each month at 6pm. Group will meet at Integrative Therapy of Nashville office on Music Row.
